The festival season is in full swing again: enjoying music, sun, food, and drinks. At Pentas, we make more than 1,000 products a year, so we can be found everywhere, even at the festival grounds. When you take a break from dancing, you might be sitting on a rotationally moulded picnic bench from our factory in Almelo. Besides picnic tables, we make many more products that make your day at the festival grounds more enjoyable. In this blog, we tell you everything about the rotationally moulded products from our factory that you can spot at your next festival.

    History

Our start with rotational moulding began in the 1970s under the name Ten Cate Sport, where we produced surfboards for windsurfing. After a decade of producing surfboards, the market declined. At the end of 1985, Martin Spanjer, on behalf of the company, began exploring new markets for rotationally moulded products. One product that immediately caught interest was the rotationally moulded mobile toilet cabin. This turned out to be the start of many rotationally moulded products for the festival grounds. In addition to being well-suited for festivals, you can also see them on construction sites. The market for mobile toilet cabins proved to be a hit. The demand was so high that the machines could no longer handle the volume.

    Products

We produce a wide range of products for the festival grounds, ranging from mobile toilets to bar modules and even coin trays. Due to the durable and robust properties of the products, they can be found at the largest festivals in the world, but also at local village festivals. All this thanks to the good cooperation between Pentas and our customers.

    Mobile toilets

One of our own and first products, and not entirely unimportant at a festival: the mobile toilet cabin. You can find them in all shapes and sizes.

    Urinals

Just like the mobile toilet, the urinal is also indispensable for the male festival-goer. These too can be found in various versions and colours. The urinals come in different sizes, often seen in a four-person or six-person variant.

    Sinks

In the same category as the mobile toilets, we also produce rotationally moulded sinks. These sinks are equipped with a foot pump, allowing you to wash your hands hygienically without touching a tap. An ideal solution for use by many different festival-goers. Of course, the sink is not only applicable at a festival but can also be found on construction sites and other locations where mobile or temporary hygiene is important.

    Bar elements

Perhaps you’re leaning on it or standing in front of it: the bar. It can be quickly assembled with bar elements. Due to the robust construction and lightweight plastic, the bar is easy to set up and move. Yet, the bar is sturdy enough to support a leaning festival-goer.

    Spotted at Zwarte Cross

Because we are proud of the products we produce, we often receive photos from colleagues who spot our products. This year, our colleague Ronny had a lot of fun at Zwarte Cross and spotted several products produced by us!
